Last weekend, i have been assigned  to do Fam Trip at Borneo Reef World which is the World Largest Pontoon in Asia! Here are picture i have taked !

0900       Depart from Sabah Park Jetty

0920       Arrive at Borneo Reef World pontoon 

         ~Welcome Drinks~

0930       Tours Introductory & Safety Briefing

0940       Water Activities

Based on selected optional package:-

• Snorkeling
• Sea-Walking
• Introduction Diving 
• Leisure Dive
• Kayaking

1030       Optional Tour:   Sapi Island ( Banana Boat, Parasailing, Jet Ski etc )

1230       BBQ Buffett Lunch

1500       Depart from pontoon (* departure time subject to weather condition)

1530       Arrive at Sabah Park Jetty

Include: Return boat transfer, Welcome Drinks, Light Refreshment, BBQ Buffet Lunch, Underwater Observatory Aquarium, Fresh Water Showers Facility, Changing Rooms Facility, Life Jacket, Mask, Snorkel, Fins Kayaking (FREE for the first 30 minutes).

Charges and Fee

1) Pontoon Package - Snorkelling Adult : RM200 / Child : RM150

 OPTIONAL:

a) Sea-walking [Certificate & CD Photos] Adult : RM250 per pax

b) Introduction Diving[Certificate & CD Photos] Adult : RM250 per pax

c) Fun Dives [2 Dives] Adult : RM250 per pax

 

2) Snorkelling + Sea-walking Adult : RM300 / Child : RM190

3) Snorkelling + Intro Diving [2 Dives] Adult : RM400

4) Snorkelling + Fun Dives [2 Dives] Adult : RM500

5) Sunset Cruise with Dinner[Minimum pax : 20] Adult : RM280 / Child : RM140

Terms and condition:

1. Every charges are applied for per person. Above 12 years old is consider adult rate. 
2. All activities available every day. No need to do advance booking. Except for sunset cruise. Need to do booking at least 3 days before tour date.
3. Payment must be made at pontoon(for watersport activities). We received only cash ( RINGGIT MALAYSIA ) . Credit card, visa not accepted.( as we do not have swip card machine at pontoon ).

My personal opinion:

Just to make it clear, this is only my personal opinion. Ok now, YOU MUST BRING WATERPROOF CAMERA / HANDPHONE COVER TO TAKE LOTS OF UNDERWATER PHOTO. ( i didn't bring mine, but they do have profesional underwater photographer to take your photo but chargable for RM1.00 for each photo) I like the sea transfer using catamaran, friendly staff, awesome food, good and clean enviroment they have, spacious seat, lovely weather, good equipment for sea activities, qualified and certificated master diver to supervice activities, and for alkoholicer, they serve beer here. RM20.00 for 1 set. Unfortunetly i don't drink, so ...  yeah. You can bring your own drink if you want, just make sure don't litter and save the enviroment !

But, the things that i don't like is, is kinda bored if you go here alone ( Yaa , i admit, i confess,  my boss only send me myself to this Fam trip. haishh ...  ) Nothing to do much if you here alone, staff here very friendly, giving warmly smile, ready to assist with your inquiry. I take picture alone, eating alone, and ya, sea walking alone, snorkeling alone... and everything alone. Yeah.. i am a lone ranger. Make sure you bring your friend, your mum, your dad, your sister, your family, your boyfriend girlfriend, EVERYONE should come here !

A brief description what i do for living. Hai, my name is Christina, but you can call me tina. Currently i am working at tour agency as assistant operation. My daily task is to assist my senior operation to coordinate daily movement, replying email inquiry, arrange booking, meet & greet at airport, provide limo services, and other task. My boss usually send me to do Fam trip is to me understand how the operation flow when on tour also to increase my product knowledge. Yes i know all of this stuff can be read, google, brochure but when you can experience it by your own, you can naturally explain to your guest in your own words to them. Most of my guest before they asking me any further, the first question they will ask me, " Have you been there? Have you do this before ? " .

I am blessed that i am doing what i am passion about also in the same time i got good paying for it. But for some people who doesn't understand this field job, might be thinking, she just make it up, there no such thing like this, like that, like blaa.. bla .. bla ... This kind of mentality some how make me just want to quite my job now, and back to low paying, not fun, machine, scheduled job.

I am not saying that my job is very very important, but this job required my time, my attention, it is a huge responsibility that i can't afford to do any mistake. Each mistake that i made will cost all the daily operation.

Borneo Reef world - Sea Walking activities

Everyday im dealing with different people from all around the world. They inspired me alot about life, travel without worries although have language barrier, follow where life lead you. There's a couple i went meet & greet at airport. They are newly wed couple, and me as informative ever, i short briefing to them about Sabah, how is the weather this few days, updating them current happening event in Sabah. Later that i ask them, where will your next stop after Sabah. They replied, we will go anywhere where our life lead. I smile to them, and say, enjoy your vacation in Sabah, I hope i will meet you guys again with little ones next time. :D

Those kind of simple words, inspired my daily routine. Waking up early in the morning, to reach workplace before 8, starting my daily routine with email, double check every daily movement, making sure today operation will run smoothly. Checking all driver is on duty, updating this and that and by the end of the day, i got the satisfaction receiving smile from every guest that they are very happy for their tour running well, they got more than they expected. Knowledgeable guide, friendly driver, good customer service and all. And all of this not because of me, but because of teamwork that we have in workplace. We help each other eventhough it is not in our describition task but because of team work, everything is possible.
